Where HAS The Time Gone?? SHEESH!

Image
Welp. I just looked at the date of my last blog. October 26th. The date I started the blog I posted a little earlier? October 27th. So much has happened since then... Here the short version: Shane had a severe reaction to a myelogram. Had to be hospitalized. Got lost in the system for three days until I threw a HOLY fit. Had surgery. Came home. All kids had HORRIBLE virus. It was hard for me for a bit, being the only healthy parent and caring for a hubster in intense pain and four very sick littles, plus all the craziness of NORMAL life, lol. BUT! Abba Father was EVER so close to us and SO beautiful...and the hearts and sacrifice of the amazing peeps in our 'house' blessed us immensely. Doc wouldn't allow him to return to work when he planned. Abba blessed. Started a new business for me :). Still couldn't return to work. Went on unpaid medical leave. Was told that he was now no longer guaranteed his returning position at his place of employment becau...

So it was late Saturday night. It had been a crazy long day and I was exhausted. After getting everything that my day required finished up, and all preparations for our crazy Sundays done, I collapsed onto our bed and snuggled up with the love of my life. We talked about my day and the struggles I had had to not dwell on negative thoughts and mental predictions...when suddenly, I realized I was talking to myself, lol. The tip off? My poor hubster started snoring softly...midsentence. He was sooooo exhausted, as only a Waffle House Wife can understand, haha. (and any other wife whose husband's job is physically and mentally demanding for lonnnnng hours) As understanding as I was, to be honest, I was little disappointed. There was so much I wanted to tell him...to share with him, but I also knew how incredibly worn out he was. He would've absolutely tried his darnedest to stay away and talk to me if I would've awakened him-because he's wonderful like that-but I...

Burning Ones

God showed me something last night in Youth...    I saw Moses and the elders around the mountain.     Moses went up but God said the elders were to stay behind.   Then Pastor Keith started talking about Moses and Joshua going up the mountain into the the cloud and I kept hearing, "They are the ones...they are the ones...they are the ones..." over and over...   I felt like a babbling idiot because all I co uld seem to say was, "You are the ones...If not you, then where will we be...we need you...we need your anointings...you are the ones...you are the ones"   I had this overwhelming urgency that they(this younger generation) must ascend...they must ascend...they MUST ascend...   Then as PK was speaking, I heard the Uncreated One say, "They will go father than you will ever go."   I was so excited!! Then, quite honestly, so disappointed and kinda hurt because...well...I'm selfish with Him. ...

Random...HA! I Never Thought Of It That Way!

Ex 6: 2-3   2 "God also said to Moses, 'I am the Lord. 3 I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name the LORD, I did not make myself known to them..." Ex 15:1 - 18 1 Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD : "I will sing to the LORD , for he is highly exalted. The horse and its rider he has hurled into the sea. 2 The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God and I will exalt him. 3 The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name..."   etc... Here's where I find the humor: God tells Moses that he has never revealed himself as "The Lord" to anyone before Moses...So its a 'new' way of relating to God...a new name... He(God) delivers his people from slavery and they sing this song..(Ex15:1-18)...a new song of praise relating to a newly revealed identity of God... THE VERY FIRST CONTEMPORARY  WORSHIP SONG...

For The Kingdom of Heaven Belongs To Such As These...

So.....yeah. I've been kinda quiet for a bit. Not really, but web-wise..well...you know what I mean. It's been a little on the nuts-ish side ever since Pop passed...Passing on that Wednesday, back and forth to Brooks to comfort "Momma", help sort and and find pictures and figure out all the details involved with an unexpected death on Thursday and Friday, nephew's first birthday party (at which I almost lost my cool and jumped a heffa...thank you JESUS for a little girl who KNOWS her momma..."Mommy? Come walk with me?"), Church on Sunday (which my Abba is so precious...had me scheduled to sing a song about peace and resting in his arms a month before Pop even passed... <3 ), Veiwing that night, Funeral on Monday, and somewhere in between, 5 out of 6 kids AND myself managed to pick up STREP (I had blisters and lacerations in my throat..ACK!) which pretty much wiped us out for the rest of that week and the beginning of the next....SHEESH!  O...

Hidden Treasures, Mysteries, Sea Monsters...In A Creek

So this is Ernie's Trail in Wyomia Tyus Park. Shane and I were walking thru these amazing nature trails and we came across a cute little bridge (not ^this one^). We stopped for a sec and looked over the rails at the multitude of moss covered rocks and pebbles beneath us. The water tickled over them invitingly, as if saying,"Come explore!" Instantly, we were both transported back to our childhoods and the adventures we would have in creeks just like this one. Shane laughed and said, "Oh, wow! I remember when I was a kid, how I would spen HOURS down in there climbing all over, turning over rocks and..." "..And looking for salamanders and crawdads and getting soaking wet!" I finished his sentence and we both laughed and reminisced about all the things we would do in creeks like this one. Then, he said something that kinda hurt my heart a little... He looked over the edge of the bridge again and said, "You know, I probably wouldn...
