Can I just be real with y'all for a bit?  Really?  Ok, thanks. I've wanted to talk about this for a long time, now, but I needed to make sure my heart was healed before I tackled trying to verbalize what happened to me and what it did to me....Because bleeding hearts can be dangerous weapons. I thank Papa God for the community of believers He led our family to after all had happened, for it was there that He told me that my heart was broken and that I had had my identity stripped from me and that I needed to be reminded of who I was.  Facing my pain and insecurities that came as a result of mistaken identity, false accusations, and underlying agendas was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, outside of facing sexual abuse from my childhood. Realizing and understanding fully that you have been manipulated for one's own purposes by people you love and trust is devastating...IF you aren't surrounded by those who love you for who you are (not what yo...

Ascending The Hill...With A Bossy Dog

I sat outside this morning, on my spiritual mom's patio, with my Papa God waiting to hear from Him as to what He wants to speak to his kids this evening. He was quiet and so was I....just enjoying our time together in the silence.  Words are overrated at times.   Sometimes we just need to BE with Him... And he taught me something.  On this morning, he insisted to come out with me, so I obliged him. (If you know Riley at all, you will know that, oblige or not, he tends to have his way, haha. ) I sat there, soaking in the cool morning breeze...loving the embrace of my Father, and I noticed Rile...

The Pregnant Bride

I've been thinking alot about the spirit of adoption lately. Heidi Baker COMPLETELY messed me up with a message she spoke about it. Never heard it that way before...then...   I was standing infront of my bathroom mirror yesterday morning and I was thinking about the 'church' as a whole.   About how easily offended 'she' is and how UBERLY cautious one must be not to offend 'her'.   I was frustrated and thought about how Jesus didn't mind offending the 'churchified'...so why is it that today as His followers we are more ok with loving said 'church' and offending the world than loving the world and offending the 'church'...like Jesus did?   I understand that that last statement messes with some of your theology.   That's okay.   It's my opinion and     I'm not concerned with theology.     Anywho, my mind was all over the place and it finally settled on this question:...
