The Redeeming One

This is Malachi.

My little Chocolate Drop of snuggles.
Child of my heart.

His cuteness CAN be deceiving.
He knows this and uses it...often, lol.

He is FULL to the TOP with exuberance...so much so that
I want to sit on him sometimes, hahaha!

He loves.
Deeply.

He's a hugger :)

He's a chef.
Oh yes, he puts Ramsey to shame in his little Ikea kitchenette.

He was one of those surprises that you hear about but never happens to you...

A spur of the moment phone call about a baby who needed a home...

Three weeks later...

We brought this chunky ball of dimples home :)

Let me just go ahead and say:

No matter the circumstances of his conception,

This child was no accident.

He's autistic and severely ADHD. In fact his pediatrician said that he was one of the most severe cases of ADHD that she had ever seen. He has anxiety and triggers out sometimes, but

one small victory, plus another small victory eventually adds up to

OVERCOMING!
We aren't living with autism...we are rocking the damn thing!

His name is Joseph Malachi.

Joseph's wisdom and favor with God saved the lives of his entire people.

Malachi simply means "God's Messenger"

Our Malachi is God's Messenger of Redemption and Salvation for his people.

We believe it. We claim it. We receive it over him.

We may have challenges right now,

but it is in the challenges that we find the beauty of the

complexity and strength of the human spirit.

This little warrior will be the voice that calls out in the wilderness

"Prepare the way of the Lord!"
